In five-plus seasons as head coach, Jeff Hall has built the University of Hawai‘i women’s beach volleyball program into a perennial national contender. During his tenure, he’s taken the program to unprecedented heights, a stretch that has included back-to-back NCAA semifinal appearances, three straight Big West crowns and a phenomenal 136-38 (.782) overall record.

COACHING HIGHLIGHTS (BEACH)
  • UH’s all-time winningest beach volleyball coach with 136 wins.
  • Has led the program to four NCAA Tournaments with a top-four finish in each appearance.
  • The SandBows are one of only five teams nationally to make it to the NCAAs every year since its inception.
  • Guided UH to three straight Big West Tournament titles (2016-18) and an 11-2 overall mark in four tournament appearances.
  • Led UH to a school-record 37 wins, a Big West title, and it’s second straight third-place NCAA finish in 2018.
  • UH won 32 straight matches in 2018, a school-record and the longest win streak in the nation that season.
  • Helped UH achieve its first ever No. 1 ranking in 2015 – a program first. UH ended the season with a 17-1 regular season record and advanced to the quarterfinals of the AVCA National Championship.
  • Has fostered individual success, mentoring eight All-Americans, nearly two dozen all-conference players and a dozen academic all-conference honorees.
 
COACHING HIGHLIGHTS (INDOOR)
  • Served as associate coach of UH’s women’s indoor volleyball program, under legendary coach Dave Shoji, for three seasons.
  • In 2015, helped the Rainbow Wahine to the NCAA Regional Finals, a 29-2 overall record and a perfect 16-0 mark in the Big West.
  • Previously spent four seasons as an assistant for the UH men’s volleyball program. Recruited a number of key members of the UH’s men’s squad that enjoyed a record-breaking four-year run, including an appearance in the 2019 NCAA title match.   
  • Also spent three seasons at his alma mater Pacific (men), three years with the UC San Diego men’s and women’s volleyball squads, and five seasons at Grossmont College.

  • Enjoyed a four-year career on the AVP Tour.
