2014 (Senior): Appeared in three matches playing three sets as a back-up middle blocker…finished with one kill and two blocks on the season…tallied both blocks against Long Beach State (Jan. 17)…recorded his only kill in the opener of the LBSU series (Jan. 16).

2013 (Junior): Made one start and appeared in seven matches and nine sets at middle blocker…started the season-opener at BYU (Jan. 4)…tallied three kills and one block at Long Beach State (Jan. 19)…had one block solo at UC San Diego (April 13).
 
Prior To UH: Attended Long Beach City College for two years… member of 2012 state championship team which finished 17-2 overall…team also captured the 2011 and ’12 conference championship…named to 2012 state all-tournament team after hitting .868 with nine blocks in the championship match…earned first-team all-conference honors in 2012 after averaging 1.97 kills per set and leading the state with a .560 hitting percentage…also finished second in the state in blocks per set (2.08)…during the state playoffs, averaged 4.25 kills and 2.25 blocks and hit .583.…a second-team all-conference pick in 2011.
 
Prep: A 2009 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, Calif…lettered twice in volleyball…played one year each for Highline Volleyball Club and Surf City Volleyball Club.
 
Personal: Born in Long Beach, Calif…intends to major in economics…has one sister…mother is Essie Thomas of Long Beach, Calif.
