Prior to UH: Attended Chemeketa Community College in Oregon for two years...led the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) in scoring with a 26.7 average as a sophomore...his 802 points was a new single-season school record, breaking a 25-year old mark...also averaged 8.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists and was named the Most Valuable Player of the league's Southern Division...once scored 53 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 111-97 victory over Lane CC...led all players in the NWAACC tournament in scoring with a 25.8 average and finished second in rebounding (9.5)...named to the NWAACC all-tournament first team...scored 30 points or more 11 times and had two 40-point games...as a freshman, averaged 18.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game and was named to the league's Southern Division first team...led Chemeketa to two-year records of 46-18 overall and 24-4 in conference play and averaged 22.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.
