Biography

2009-10 (Sophomore): Saw brief action in 19 games...averaged 1.6 ppg and 1.3 rpg in 4.6 mpg...most productive game was at New Mexico State (Feb. 15) setting new career highs in points (9), rebounds (7) and minutes (18)...also played 13 minutes, and recorded two points, five rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal at Utah State (Jan. 11)...contributed in UH’s games at Nevada (Jan. 30), posting three points, two rebounds, one block and one assist...scored first points of the season in final minute versus BYU (Nov. 20)...three points vs. Lamar (Dec. 6), Chicago State (Dec. 12), and Northwestern State (Dec. 28)...grabbed two rebounds against BYU, Chicago State, and Northwestern State.

2008-09 (Freshman): Played briefly in nine games..made UH debut in vs. Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 16), playing two minutes...scored first career points on a pair of free throws vs. Eastern Washington (Dec. 13)...scored first career field goal vs. Idaho (Feb. 7)...three points and four rebounds in eight minutes at Utah State (Feb. 26)...24 minutes played on the season...tallied eight points, 10 rebounds, one block and one assist on the season...shot 6-of-10 from the free throw line.

2007-08: Redshirted.

Prior to UH: Attended the United States Basketball Academy in Blue River, Ore., for the past two years...was one more than 20 Chinese boys who attended the year-round training facility founded by former UH head coach Bruce O'Neil...also attended the Nike All-Asia Camp, of which former UH guard and Denver Nuggets assistant Jarinn Akana served as a coach.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Zhengzhou No. 11 Middle School...averaged nearly 20 points and 12 rebounds per game...member of 2003 league championship team.
