Biography

2003-04 (Senior): One of five players to amass 600 career rebounds in school history...also one of three players to record 500 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 blocks in a career...missed two games (Boise State & So. Illinois) due to an injured knee...had three double-doubles this season...seven games with double figure rebounds, including season-high 13 against IUPUI (Dec. 29)...posted 14 points and 11 rebounds against Chaminade (Nov. 25)...had 13 points and 10 rebounds vs. New Orleans (Dec. 21)...recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds vs. LaTech (Feb. 12)...season-high 13 rebounds against IUPUI (Dec. 29)...had 12 points and eight rebounds in NIT third round game at Michigan (March 24)...ranked third in UH record book for career blocks (143) and fourth in rebounding (631)...scored in double figures in 26 career games and recorded double figure rebounds in 19 career games...posted 10 career double-doubles.

2002-03 (Junior):
Started 23 games and appeared in 28...suffered right ankle sprain at Tulsa (Feb. 27)...missed three games due to injury...scored in double figures in eight games...had string of 52 consecutive starts end at SMU (Feb. 8)...posted consecutive double-doubles 12 pts./11 reb. vs. Tulsa (Feb. 1) and 10 pts./11 reb. vs. Rice (Jan. 30)...ranked fifth in the WAC in blocked shots (1.39) and 10th in rebounding (6.5)...scored career-high 20 points against Bradley (Dec. 27) in Rainbow Classic...had 18 points against Arkansas-Little Rock (Nov. 22) in season opener...matched that total against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Nov. 24) in Hawaiian Airlines Tip-Off Tournament title game, where he was named Most Outstanding Player...also had 18 points and 13 rebounds against EAstern Illinois (Dec. 20)...earned all-tournament team honors in adidas Festival...led the team in rebounding in 10 games and posted six double-figure rebounding games.

2001-02 (Sophomore):
One of three players to start all 33 games this season...ranked third in the WAC in blocked shots (62), eighth in rebounding (6.6), and seventh in assist/turnover ratio (1.79)...recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds while playing in a career-high 38 minutes at Nevada (Feb. 28)...had eight rebounds, six assists, and three blocks at Tulsa (Jan. 26)...posted six points, seven rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals in WAC Tourney title game against Tulsa (Mar. 9)...grabbed career-high 14 rebounds, while also posting eight points and five assists in home victory over Tulsa (Feb. 21)...named Rainbow Classic Most Outstanding Player...had career-highs of 16 points, 12 rebounds, and five blocks vs. Northwestern State (Nov. 27)...also notched 16 points, six boards, and five blocks against Iona (Dec. 21)...recorded double-double (13 pts./11 reb.) in season opener against Norfolk State (Nov. 16)...dished out career-high eight assists against SMU (Jan. 12)...scored in double-figures in nine games...team leader in rebounding 15 times...six double-figure rebounding games.

2000-01 (Freshman):
Sat out team's first 22 games due to NCAA-sanctioned suspension for playing in a professional league in Israel...played in team's final nine games off the bench...in debut, scored two points and grabbed five rebounds in 16 minutes against SMU (Feb. 15)...had most productive outing versus TCU (Mar. 8) in WAC Tournament quarterfinals, recording nine points and five rebounds.
