Silas Clapham joined the University of Hawai‘i football program in 2022 as the director of player personnel.
Prior to joining the staff, Clapham spent two seasons as recruiting analyst at the University of Nevada. He joined the program in 2019 as a recruiting and operations intern.
Following the 2021 season, Clapham left Nevada to join head coach Jay Norvell’s staff at Colorado State in January where he was named director of on-campus recruiting before being hired at UH.
Clapham earned his master’s degree in education in intercollegiate athletic leadership from the University of Washington. Born and raised in Bellevue, Wash., he attended Bellevue High School and then Florida State University, where he captained the water polo team while obtaining his bachelor of science in marketing and sports management.
