Ryan Ishihara took over as the University of Hawai‘i football team's head strength and conditioning coach in 2024 after working in the department since 2021.

COACHING HIGHLIGHTS
  • Took over as the football team's head strength and conditioning coach in 2024.
  • Assumed the role of assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2023 after serving as a graduate assistant in the strength and conditioning department from 2021-22.
  • In addition to helping the Rainbow Warrior football team, worked with the women’s swimming and diving team that captured the 2023 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship.
  • Previously the head strength coach at Sherwood High School in Oregon for three years while also serving as head athletic trainer at the school.
