2015 (Senior): Appeared in all 13 games at linebacker, making his lone start of the year on Homecoming against San Diego State (10/10)…registered 30 tackles on the season (14 solo/16 assisted)…made 3.5 tackles for loss, including 1.5 sacks on the year…broke up one pass against San Jose State (Nov. 21)…matched a team season high with all 1.5 of his sacks coming at New Mexico (Oct. 17), dropping the Lobos for 12 yards lost…registered a season-best seven tackles against San Diego State, following up a six-tackle finish in the Mountain West opener at Boise State (Oct. 3).
2014 (Junior): Appeared in all 13 games, making 12 starts at inside linebacker…finished second on the team with 63 total tackles (39 solo, 24 assisted), including 3.0 for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, one interception, and three quarterback hurries…season-high nine tackles each against Northern Iowa (Sept. 13) and Nevada (Oct. 25)…recorded first career interception against Fresno State (Nov. 29)…had one sack, one forced fumble and one QB hurry at Rice (Oct. 4)…posted eight tackles at San Diego State (Oct. 18)…first career sack in season-opener versus Washington (Aug. 30)...named to the academic all-MW team.
Prior To UH: Attended Fullerton Junior College in California for two years…rated as the No. 15 junior-college outside linebacker in the country by Rivals...helped Fullerton to a pair of league championships, a regional title and an appearance in the 2013 state finals...named first team all-league and first team all-Region IV as a sophomore…tallied 68 total tackles, including 10.5 for loss, five sacks, one interception, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery…helped Fullerton to the Southern California Football Association title before falling to Butte in the California Community College Athletic Association’s state championship game…as a freshman in 2012, was the team’s third leading tackler with 49 tackles, including 4.0 for loss, two sacks, on interception, one fumble recovery, and two pass breakups…had a career-high 14 tackles against Saddleback…scored on a 20-yard interception return against Grossmont...an Academic All-American and two-time scholar-athlete...prior to Fullerton, attended San José State as a walk-on...redshirted during the 2011 season.
