Biography

2009: Redshirted.

2008 (Junior): Appeared in all 14 games with 13 starts at wideout...team’s starting kick returner the final six games of the season...led the team in all-purpose yards with 1,248...tied for the team-high with six touchdown receptions...third on the squad in receiving yards (613) and fourth in receptions (35)...averaged a team-high 17.5 yards per catch...seven catches of 25 yards or longer...helped lead UH rally with a 42-yard touchdown in the second half in come-from-behind win over Weber State (Sept. 6)...contributed to school’s first-ever win over a ranked team on the road with six catches for 66 yards and a touchdown in 32-29 win over Fresno State (Oct. 4)...caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Greg Alexander with 20 seconds left to lift UH to a 38-31 win over Nevada (Oct. 25)...seven catches for 77 yards at Utah State (Nov. 8)...also had a 91-yard kick return versus the Aggies...in the only game he did not start all season, hauled in four catches for a career-high 144 yards and two touchdowns in win over Idaho (Nov. 22)...had an 82-yard touchdown vs. the Vandals, the longest play from scrimmage on the season and the eighth-longest pass play in school history.

2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games on kickoff unit and back-up wide receiver...returned two kicks for touchdowns...had 94-yard return in season-opener against Northern Colorado (Sept. 1) and 87-yarder against Utah State (Oct. 6)...averaged 29.2 yards per kickoff return, which ranked 10th nationally...hauled in 14 receptions for 270 yards and two TDs...receiving end of an 81-yard TD pass play from Tyler Graunke in UNLV game (Sept. 15).

2006 (Freshman): Caught one pass in each of the Eastern Illinois (Sept. 30), Utah State (Nov. 4) and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 11) games...had a season-high 58-yard reception against the Panthers.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Hanau High School in Germany...earned three letters each in both football and basketball...twice named to the all-Europe offensive and defensive teams...coached by Sam Cassou...twice garnered all-Europe in basketball...football team won league title his senior season...led basketball team to three straight conference titles...an academic all-conference selection...a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Born in Ft. Bragg, N.C...majoring in history...has two brothers...mother is Catherine Baldwin and father is George Lane Sr., of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
