Biography

2009 (Senior): Appeared in 10 games, starting the final seven at “Y” receiver…caught 47 passes for 589 yards and three touchdowns…ranked sixth in the WAC in receiving yards per game (58.9) and seventh in receptions per game (4.7)…scored touchdowns against Fresno State (Oct. 10), Boise State (Oct. 24) and Utah State (Nov. 7)…career-high 10 receptions for 149 yards against San Jose State (Nov. 21)…had 92 receiving yards on nine catches at Nevada (Oct. 31)…named to the all-WAC academic team.

2008 (Junior): Played in 10 games...tallied nine catches for 98 yards and one touchdown in slot position...had two catches for 32 yards, including a 24-yard reception in season-opener at Florida (Aug. 30)...scored first career touchdown on 16-yard pass from Greg Alexander in fourth quarter versus nationally ranked Cincinnati (Dec. 6)...also hauled in a 20-yard reception versus the Bearcats...a UH scholar-athlete.

2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in one game, UH’s season-opener vs. Northern Colorado (Sept. 1)...caught one pass for seven yards.

Prior To UH: Redshirted at Western Oregon University in 2005

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Kapolei High School on O‘ahu...earned three letters each in both football and track...coached in football by Darren Hernandez...garnered all-league honors in both sports...led the league in passing as a junior...state medalist in the 4x100-meter relay and 400-meter dash...a member of championship teams in football and track in 2003...honored with the Hurricane of the Year award for the best student-athlete.
