2009 (Senior): Appeared in all 13 games on special teams and as a backup running back…rushed for 34 yards on nine carries…scored one rushing touchdown at Idaho (Oct. 17)…had one reception for four yards…rushed twice for 16 yards against Wisconsin (Dec. 5)…made three tackles…named to the all-WAC Academic Team.
2008 (Junior): Played in 11 games with six starts behind center...passed for 1,184 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 57.8-percent of his passes...team’s third-leading rusher with 215 yards...scored a rushing touchdown...made first appearance in the season-opener vs. Florida (Aug. 30)...threw for 110 yards on 8-of-11 passing and UH’s lone touchdown in one quarter of action against the fifth-ranked Gators...passed for 87 yards and rushed for 20 yards in first career start vs. Weber State (Sept. 6)...led school to first-ever road win over a ranked squad in a 32-29 win at No. 21 Fresno State...threw for 170 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-25 passing, while also adding 79 rushing yards vs. the Bulldogs...passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another in 24-14 win over Louisiana Tech (Oct. 11)...completed 16-of-27 and finished with a career-high 224 yards...completed all five passes, including one touchdown pass vs. Notre Dame (Dec. 24) in the Hawai‘i Bowl...a UH scholar-athlete.
2007 (Sophomore): Made five appearances as a third-string quarterback...completed 10-of-15 passes for 136 yards and three TDs...had a passer rating of 208.8...threw for 78 yards and two scores on 6-of-9 passing against Charleston Southern (Sept. 22)...perfect 4-for-4 passing, 58 yards and one TD against Northern Colorado (Sept. 1).
2006 (Freshman): Played in 12 games, mainly on special teams as a holder...appeared in three games at quarterback — UNLV (Sept. 16), Eastern Illinois (Sept. 30) and Idaho (Oct. 28)...completed 5-of-10 passes for 120 yards versus Eastern Illinois...connected on only pass against UNLV for eight yards.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Kahuku High School on O‘ahu...earned three varsity letters in football...quarterbacked the Red Raiders to two consecutive state championships (2001, ’02)...named the state Offensive Player of the Year and first team all-state as a senior...also named all-league as a junior and senior...passed for 2,446 yards and 29 touchdowns, and rushed for 540 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior...also earned two letters each in basketball and track, and one in tennis...an honor student...member of the Tongan Club.
