• Spent first three collegiate seasons at Nevada
• In 27 games with the Wolfpack, recorded 35 tackles, 10.0 TFLs and three sacks
• Finished second on the team with five TFLs in 2023
• The fourth-highest graded interior defensive lineman in the Mountain West according to Pro Football Focus in 2023 (76.7)
• Made 21 tackles with five TFLs and two sacks as a redshirt freshman in 2022
• Recorded four tackles and a sack at Hawai‘i on Oct. 15.
• Was originally recruited to Nevada by then Wolf Pack assistant and current UH head coach Timmy Chang.

• A 2021 graduate of Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas, Nev.
• Three-star prospect ranked No. 20 in Nevada out of high school by ESPN
• As a junior in 2019, recorded four sacks, eight TFLs and 20 tackles in eight games
• Recorded multiple TFLs in a game three times, highlighted by a two-sack performance vs. Bonanza on Oct. 11
• Competed in football, wrestling, and track at Shadow Ridge
• Won a conference wrestling title and came in second in the Sunset Region as a junior in 2020
• Came in first in the discus in the NIAA 4A Southern Mountain Regional as a senior in 2021
• Also the runner-up in the shot put and a part of the second-place 4x100m relay team in the Mountain Regional

• Born in Las Vegas, Nev.
• Intends to major in political science.
• His father Dion was a fourth-round pick by the New York Yankees, while his uncle Maurice was a fourth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the same 1997 MLB Draft.
• Parents are Dion Washington and Sheryl Wheaton of Las Vegas, Nev.
