In 2021, coached a defense that finished top 25 nationally in three categories: pass- efficiency defense (25th), third-down defense (11th) and red-zone defense (25th).
Led a Cal Poly defense that finished top-three in total defense and points allowed in three separate seasons.
Has been affiliated with two conference championship teams (2011 Great West, 2012 Big Sky).
Coached for five teams that advanced to the postseason and five that finished the season ranked in the Top 25 nationally (2010, ‘11, ‘12, ‘13, ‘16).
Coached multiple NFL players including Tennessee Titans linebacker Nick Dzubar.
Coached numerous all-conference players, highlighted by Big Sky Conference Co-Defensive Player of the year Sullivan Grosz (2013).
