Rayson Romero joined the Rainbow Warrior baseball program during the fall of 2023 after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Hawai‘i Pacific.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Has helped UH to back-to-back 35-plus win seasons for the first time since 1991-92, winning 37 games in 2024 and 35 in 2025.
  • Helped lead UH to a 37-16 overall record and third-place Big West finish during his first year on the staff in 2024.
  • The Rainbow Warriors ended 2024 winning 18 of their last 20 games including 11 in a row at home.
  • Worked with the hitters and infielders over his two seasons at Hawai‘i Pacific.
  • Helped HPU post its best team fielding percentage in 10 years in 2023, finishing with a .967 mark.
  • Also helped the Sharks finish second in the PacWest in batting average at .291 in 2023 while they led the league in stolen bases, going 95-of-114.
  • Spent one year as a collegiate summer league manager at Inspiration Academy in Florida before arriving at HPU.
  • Played professionally for the independent league Sonoma Stompers after a four-year collegiate career at Sonoma State.
  • A first-team all-state shortstop at Saint Louis School.
