2013 (Senior): Saw action in 20 games with one start on the mound...went 1-3 on the season and finished with an ERA of 7.33 in 27.0 innings...recorded 10 total strikeouts...had three straight scoreless outings early in the season against No. 5 Oregon and No. 10 Rice...worked two scoreless innings at UNLV (Mar. 4) with just one walk...in two games against Wichita State (Mar. 21 & 23), allowed no runs on just three hits with just one walk in 3.2 innings...finished the season with three straight scoreless outings, allowing two hits and posting three strikeouts in a combined 6.1 innings of work.

2012 (Junior): Saw action in 11 games with three starts...posted a 4.26 ERA in 31.2 innings pitched with 19 strikeouts...had four scoreless outings...delivered his best outing of the season in UH's home finale, starting and throwing 7.0 innings for the win while allowing just one earned run and posting six strikeouts...recorded five strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work at Grambling State (Apr. 24)...came out of the bullpen at UC Davis (May 14) and worked 4.0 innings allowing just one run on three hits.

Prior To UH: Played baseball for one year at Sonoma State University in 2009 and redshirted in 2010...also played one year at Santa Rosa Junior College (2011)...was a First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Northern California selection at Santa Rosa...led the league in innings pitched with 97.2...also lead league in lowest on-base percentage at .180 and was third in the state with a 1.40 ERA.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa, Calif...lettered three years in baseball...team took league championship title his junior and senior seasons...named First Team All-League and First-Team All-Empire his senior year and earned honorable mention honors his junior season...also lettered two years in basketball where his team won league championships in 2006 and 2007.

Personal: Born in San Jose, Calif...parents are Kathy and Ken Flinn of Windsor, Calif...has two younger sisters...intends to major in sociology.
