SERIES INFORMATION

• Wyoming regained possession of the Paniolo Trophy in the teams’ 30th all-time meeting.
• UH is now 12-18 all-time against Wyoming, including a 4-10 mark in Laramie.
• Hawai‘i is 1-8 in its last nine trips to Laramie dating back to 1993.
• The two teams have met 10 times as Mountain West members, with Wyoming owning a 6-4 edge in those matchups.
• The home team is 8-2 in the 10 meetings as MW foes.

 
UH IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST

• UH is 39-74 (.345) all-time in the MW, including 16-39 (.291) on the road.
• Timmy Chang is 13-20 in MW games with a 4-12 record on the road.
• UH dropped its third straight Mountain West road game – and fourth overall – dating back to last season.

• UH wore all-black uniforms on the road for the first time since playing at Colorado State in 2022.
• UH is now 1-21 when scoring 20 points or less under head coach Timmy Chang including 0-2 this season.
• UH is 0-3 in day games this season.
• UH did not commit a turnover for the first time all season. However, Hawai‘i lost the ball on downs twice.
• UH trailed at halftime for the third time this season, all resulting in losses. Hawai‘i is now 4-28 when trailing at the half under Chang.

 
INDIVIDUAL STREAKS/TRENDS

• Elijah Palmer has played in a team-high 28 straight games dating back to the 2024 season.
• Micah Alejado completed 10 consecutive passes during a 16-play drive to open the second half.
• Alejado has not thrown an interception in his last 89 attempts and has only one through four games this season in 181 total attempts.

TEAM NOTES

• Wyoming kicked a field goal on its opening drive, marking the first time UH allowed an opponent to score on their opening drive.
• UH scored on its opening drive for the second straight game after a 28-yard field goal by Sean Olvera-Harle.
• UH scored three points in the first half, the third time UH has been held to seven points or less in the first half this season.
• UH’s three sacks were a season-high.
• UH’s 16-play drive to open the second half tied for the longest drive of the season. Hawai‘i came up empty on that drive stalling at the 1-yard line.
• Twelve different Warriors caught a pass, which marked the second time this season that feat has occurred (also against Stanford).

 
INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• RB DeVon Rice rushed for a career-high 75 yards on 11 carries, averaging 6.8 yards per carry. He also caught two passes for 11 yards.
• In his first career start, TE Frank Abreu set career-highs in catches (4) and yards (24).
• After missing the last two games, DL Lesterlaisene Lagafuaina returned to the starting lineup and recorded four tackles, including one for loss.
• LB Wynden Ho‘ohuli tallied a career-high 10 tackles (7 solo) with one sack and one forced fumble.
• TE Devon Tauaefa scored on a 20-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, his second career TD and first since 2023.
• DL Spencer Elliott recorded his first career sack while adding a pass breakup and two QB hurries.
• OL Uluaki Taukiuvea made his first career start, appearing at right tackle.
