Subject: Important update for H-Club Athletic Fund members

Aloha H-Club members,

On behalf of the University of Hawaiʻi Athletics Department, mahalo nui loa for your unwavering support of our Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine student-athletes.

For more than a decade now, H-Club members have been the heart of UH Athletics. Your generosity has helped thousands of student-athletes pursue their academic and athletic goals while proudly representing Hawaiʻi. Whether you have supported UH Athletics for a few years or for generations, your commitment has helped build the foundation we stand on today.  We are sincerely grateful for all you have done for Our Team, Hawaiʻi’s Team.

Today, I am excited to share an important update about the future of giving at UH Athletics. Beginning July 1, 2027, the H-Club Athletic Fund will transition to the new ’Bows Athletics Club and become our primary annual giving program. In the interim, please rest assured that all H-Club benefits for 2026-27 seasons will be fulfilled as scheduled.

At its core, this transition is designed to build on the H-Club’s legacy—not replace it. The ’Bows Athletics Club is intended to create a simpler, more flexible way to support UH Athletics while continuing to recognize both annual giving and longtime loyalty.

As college athletics continues to evolve nationwide, private support has become increasingly important in providing the resources and opportunities student-athletes need to succeed. The ’Bows Athletics Club will make it easier for supporters to direct their gifts to the teams, programs and priorities they care about most while helping nearly 500 Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine student-athletes succeed in competition, in the classroom and throughout our communities.

In recognition of your longstanding support, all 2026-27 H-Club members will automatically receive All-Conference status in the new ’Bows Athletics Club—the program’s second membership level—during the inaugural 2027–28 academic year.  Members may elevate their status further through additional giving. 

Depending on giving level and availability, ’Bows Athletics Club members will enjoy benefits such as priority postseason ticket opportunities, invitations to exclusive events, hospitality experiences, eligibility to purchase reserved parking and other gameday experiences. Additional benefits and opportunities will continue to be introduced as the program evolves.
The current fiscal year (July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027) will serve as the qualifying period to earn ’Bows Athletics Club status for 2027-28 seasons. Contributions and pledges made through University of Hawai’i Foundation during this period will count towards your membership status.

Just as importantly, your history matters. A new loyalty points system will complement the ’Bows Athletics Club by recognizing eligible giving and season-ticket history dating back to 2001, helping ensure that the commitment you have shown over the years continues to be recognized and rewarded. 

In the coming months, a ’Bows Athletics Club website will be launched where you may learn more about membership levels, benefits and the new loyalty points system.  Until this time, please reference the FAQ page below for more information.
