2024 Football Game Promotions

  • DELAWARE STATE: To kick off the season we celebrate with our new department wide “We’re Hawai‘i” theme. Recognizing the uniqueness of our fan base, and what makes the University of Hawai‘i special. Hawaiian Airlines will be handing out 4,000 roster cards and 3,000 UH hand fans inside Gate 2. The UH marketing team will be distributing 2,000 2024 Rainbow Warriors collectable schedule posters at Gate 2, Gate 3, and Gate 8. In honor of the 2024 Summer Olympics we’ll honor current and former student-athletes who represented their home countries as Olympians. We also welcome back the inaugural Rainbow Wahine soccer team from 1994 season as the program will be recognized for its 30-year anniversary.
 
  • UCLA: A celebration of culture and diversity with “Island Style Day.” All fans are being asked to wear their favorite green UH shirt to green out the stands in a show of unity for a national television audience on CBS. All fans will be encouraged to bring ti leaves for good luck, while ti leaf rally towels will be distributed to the student section. Be on the lookout for a clear bag giveaway at Gate 2 from game sponsor Bank of Hawai‘i.
 
  • NORTHERN IOWA: From the words of Earth, Wind, and Fire, “Do you remember the 21st Night of September?” We plan to make it a memorable night with plenty of nostalgia, inducing 5,000 groovy cooling towels courtesy of our game sponsor Hawaiian Telcom. Listen closely throughout the night as you’ll hear countless tunes from the Disco era from the sound system and the legendary UH Marching Band.
 
  • BOISE STATE: UH and game sponsor Heineken welcomes all first responders including police, firefighters, paramedics, and lifeguards for "Hawai'i Heroes Night." All first responders will receive a 30% discount off on tickets. UH marketing will be giving out 1,000 "Hawai'i Heroes" commemorative keychains throughout the facility. Heineken will distribute 5,000 foam shakas to fans at Gate 2. Prior to kickoff, the U.S. Coast Guard will add to the pageantry of the day with a flyover during the national anthem with a MH-65E Dolphin helicopter, featuring  LT Titus Creamer, LT Olivia Holt, and AET1 Christopher Parrinello. The legend of the day provided by the UH Letterwinners Club is a former defensive back from the late 90's who is currently a firefighter in Manoa, Alan Hackbarth, but most know him as super fan "Rubber Band Man". 
 
  • NEVADAOUTRIGGER Resorts and Hotels will be the presenting sponsor for a game all UH fans look forward to with the annual "Homecoming Game." We'll remember the past as we welcome back the memorable 1999 Rainbow Warrior football team as they'll be accompanied by legendary head coach June Jones. We'll celebrate the now by making Homecoming all about the students with 500 Retro Rainbow Rally Towels courtesy of OUTRIGGER and 500 Homecoming t-shirts, designed by alum Drew Honda of Sweet Enemy. The 2024 Rainbow Wahine water polo team will be in attendance to celebrate their Big West Water Polo championship along with legendary and recently retired head coach Maureen Cole. One lucky fan will have a chance to win $1,000 as they attempt the All-State field goal challenge. All pregame activities have officially moved to Legacy Path, located right in front of Campus Center, and stretching to Dole Street. Fans can expect nearly 30 vendors and activities, along with a pregame concert starting at 3pm featuring Kani Ka Pila Grille talent search winners Rickey Kamai and Kahiau Lam Ho, plus Peni Dean presented by Hawaii's Finest.
 
  • UNLV: “Military Appreciation Night” sponsored by California Hotel and Casino welcomes all retired and active military personnel with a 50% discount on all tickets. Several branches of the military will be recognized in various ways throughout the evening. Prior to kickoff, fans will get to see a flyover during the National Anthem. The UH Marching Band will be joined by armed forces marching bands for a performance. 
 
  • NEW MEXICO: A night we say “Aloha and Mahalo” to the 2024 class for “Senior Night,” sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank. All fans are asked to wear their favorite aloha attire in unity to show all the seniors the love and appreciation from the islands. A lei making station will be made available for keiki and fans alike to make custom leis for the seniors.
