Rainbow Warriors Roll To 52-35 Hawai'i Bowl Win
The University of Hawai'i capped a turnaround 2016 season by winning a thrilling 52-35 shootout over Middle Tennessee in the Hawai'i Bowl Christmas Eve at Aloha Stadium.

A year after finishing with a 3-10 mark, UH (7-7) reached seven wins under first-year head coach Nick Rolovich—its highest total since 2010—and halted a string of five straight losing seasons. The win also snapped a string of three straight bowl losses as UH picked up its first win in the post-season since the 2006 Hawai'i Bowl. | More... | Photo Gallery |

Football Begins Final Preparations During First Day Of Hawai‘i Bowl Week
The University of Hawai'i football team went back to work on Monday morning at Cooke Practice Field, beginning to put the finishing touches on the turnaround 2016 season with the first day of bowl week practices.

Hawai'i Bowl week activity opened up early Monday with a focused 8:00 a.m. practice for just under two hours, working in extensive scout work for Saturday's opponent, Middle Tennessee. After two weeks of practice that spared time for the younger and redshirt players, Monday was an all-out practice in shells, revealing a well-rested rotation that had bounced back from the wear and tear of the 13-game season. | More... |

32377Bowl Birthed From Hawai‘i Success Welcomes Back The Home Team

Imagine that a team would conclude the regular season with a 9-3 record, and find themselves on the outside looking in during bowl season. Unjust as that may seem in the modern world of college football, that is exactly what befell the 2001 University of Hawai'i squad, led by then-quarterback Nick Rolovich, which was not selected even after an outright thrashing of the nation's No. 9 team, Brigham Young, in the season finale. | More... |
