UH has lost 10 straight road games, including seven straight conference road games, dating back to 2011.
 
The last time UH started a season 0-6 was during the winless campaign of 1998 (0-12). UH has started winless through its first six games just twice before (1965: 0-5-1 and 1998:0-6)
 
The six-game losing streak is the fourth longest in school history.
 
UH is one of seven remaining winless teams in the FBS this season.

UH’s 37 points is tied for a season high (37-42 loss to Fresno State).
 
UH surrender a season-high 579 yards. It was the most yards surrendered since giving up 737 yards in a loss at Boise State in 2010.  
 
Sean Schroeder made his first start of season under center and finished 24-of-47 for 325 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. It was his third straight 300-yard game.
 
Chris Gant scored two touchdowns for the second straight week when he caught a 28-yard pass from Schroeder in the second quarter and a 44-yarder in the fourth quarter.
 
Donnie King Jr scored his first career touchdown on a 12-yard reception from Sean Schroeder late in the first quarter. King finished with three catches for 10 yards.
 
With a 17-13 advantage, UH held a halftime lead for the first time in six games this year.
 
Senior wide receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann extended his streak to 26 straight games with reception with a 15-yard catch during UH’s second offensive series. Stutzmann, who made his first start of the season, finished with four catches for 84 yards and scored for the third straight game with a 48-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
 
Bubba Poueu-Luna 86 yard kickoff return was UH’s most explosive play this season. Poueu-Luna also returned a kick 54 yards in last week’s loss to San Jose State.
 
Freshman Kwamne Bowens, who saw time on defense in UH’s first four games, got his first action on the offensive side of the ball and gained 30 yards on a reverse in the second quarter.
 
UH had a season-high 12 tackles-for-loss. Senior linebacker Brendan Daley registered a career high 12 tackles.
 
Trayvon Henderson recorded an interception for the second consecutive game with his pick of Caleb Herring on the final play of the first half.
 
Kody Afusia, Moses Samia and Beau Yap served as team captains during the coin toss.
