Post Game Press Conference (Moniz)
Post Game Press Conference (Iosefa, Brown, Paredes)
Post Game Press Conference (McMackin)

Hawai‘i head coach Greg McMackin
"We talked about dominating in the second half. (USU’s) quarterback was hurt, they brought in the back-up guy and he made some great plays. I don't have a lot to say, I really don't. I'm just really sick to my stomach. We're going to meet as a staff tomorrow morning. They made plays, we didn't make plays. We broke down and they did a heck of a job coming back. I'm really at a loss for words ."

Utah State head coach Gary Andersen
General comment:
“We knew the fight we in for when you come to Hawaii. It wasn’t going so well at hafltime. Tremendous effort by the kids coming back, bow up and keep fighting.”

On team finally breaking through in fourth quarter:
“It’s been tough for us. We’ve lost five games real similar to that situation and to be able to come back and be able to do it is just a credit to the young men in the program.”

“It’s huge for us being able to play in the fourth quarter and being able to finish. I’m sure there’s going to be some people who stayed up till halftime and closed their eyes and went to sleep. There will be some surprised people at home when they open up the newspaper and see what happens.”

On quarterback Adam Kennedy:
“Adam … you never know when your number’s called. It’s been hard for Adam Kennedy. He walks in here as the JC quarterback and was beat out by a true freshman (Chuckie Keeton). He handled it unbelievably. He stuck with it and he was prepared to make some plays for us.”

On his team’s defensive play:
“We didn’t have any pass rush in the first half and we got that in the second half, and that was good.”

On his team’s inspired play in second half:
“I challenged them at halftime, and I’m not saying it was my pep talk that got them fired up to play. I let them know you’re playing the University of Hawaii. We’ve targeted three teams in the conference with Nevada, Fresno and Hawaii. You have to knock one of those teams off if you want to make a statement and have anything special in this conference. They stood up and answered the bell in adverse situations.”

Utah State quarterback Adam Kennedy
General comment:
“All year long we had heard about our struggles in the fourth. The guys believed we were going to win. Coach talked to us and told us to put those losses in the fourth quarter behind and move on.”

“It was our night. It was our program’s night.”

On 71-yard touchdown pass to Stanley Morrison in the fourth quarter:
“We were actually expecting the safety to come down a little farther than he did. It was the same route we threw earlier in the game. The safety came down a little bit and the corner was playing really deep. I thought I could fit it in there, took a chance and went for it and the rest is history.”

On team finally breaking through in fourth quarter:
“This will get us over the hump and hopefully get us over those fourth-quarter blues. To see how talented a team we have, but for some reason the fourth quarter just wasn’t our quarter. In this game we came out and decided to put it all out there.”

On Utah State’s defense getting the ball to the offense in second half.:
“The second half they really bowed up, took it upon themselves to make some plays. We made plays we needed to make.”
