UH vs. UCLA

- UH dropped to 4-15 all-time versus UCLA. The teams last met in the postseason in 2007 as UH upset the Bruins in a regional matchup in Los Angeles.
- UH dropped to 39-78 all-time versus Pac-10 schools, including 3-7 this year.
- UH dropped to 5-7 this year versus ranked squads.
- UH played in its 11th straight away game and have been on the road since May 10
- UH expanded its NCAA record to 157 home runs with Alexandra Aguirre’s two-run shot in the fourth inning.
-It was Aguirre’s second home run in the CWS and 13th of the season.
- UH has hit a home run in 54 of 65 games
-A total of 282 of UH’s 487 runs this season have been attributed to home runs.
- UH has scored 41 runs (5.1 per game) in eight NCAA Tournament games.
- UH fell to 26-7 in away games this year. UH is 10-6 at neutral sites and 16-1 in true road games.
-UH (50-15) is still one win shy of tying the school record for single season wins. The Rainbow Wahine hit the 50-win plateau for the third time in school history. UH went 50-13 in 2007 and set a school record with 51 wins (51-14) in 1994.
- With 86 hits Gonzalez’s is still two hits shy of UH’s single season record of 88 by Cathy Turner in 1995. The junior entered the CWS leading UH with a .408 batting average but is 0-6 in two games.
