-UH picked up a win in its first-ever game in the College World Series.
 
-UH improved to 50-14 overall and hit the 50-win plateau for the third time in school history. UH went 50-13 in 2007 and set a school record with 51 wins (51-14) in 1994.
 
- UH improved to 5-4 all-time versus Missouri. This was the first meeting in eight years after a pair of UH wins (3-1, 5-1) in the 2002 Aztec Invitational. The Tigers won two out of three games against to oust the Rainbow Wahine in the 1994 NCAA Midwest Regional, UH’s first-ever tournament appearance. The ’Bows won their first game against Mizzou, 2-1, but then fell in a 13-inning marathon game, 3-1 and then again the second game of a doubleheader, 2-1, to finish their season one win away from advancing to the Women’s College World Series.
 
- UH improved to 27-30 all-time versus Big 12 teams. UH is now 2-1 versus the Big 12 this year. UH lost to Oklahoma State, 1-0, in the Cathedral City Classic on Feb. 25. UH defeated Texas Tech, 7-1, in the NCAA Stanford Regional on May 23.
 
- UH played in its 10th straight away game and have been on the road since May 10
 
- UH improved to 5-6 this year versus ranked squads.
 
- UH won for just the third time in 13 games when trailing entering the 7th inning.
 
- UH expanded its NCAA single-season record with 156 home runs after round-trippers by Alexandra Aguirre and Traci Yoshikawa.
 
- UH has hit a home run in 53 of 64 games.
 
- UH has hit multiple home runs in 45 of 64 games.
 
- UH improved to 41-3 when hitting at least two home runs.
 
-With three runs versus Missouri, a total of 280 of UH’s 485 runs this season have been attributed to home runs.
 
- UH has scored 39 runs (6.5 per game) in seven NCAA Tournament games.
 
- UH is 26-6 in away games this year. UH is 10-5 at neutral sites and 16-1 in true road games
 
- Louisville Slugger/NFCA 1st Team All-American Melissa Gonzalez had her 10-game hit streak stopped versus Missouri after going 0-3.
 
- With 86 hits Gonzalez’s is still two hits shy of UH’s single season record of 88 by Cathy Turner in 1995.
 
- As a team, UH has broken several single-season school records, including...
    -most runs scored (485)
    -most RBI (446)
    -most doubles (92),
    -most walks (180)
    -most strike outs (348)
    -most home runs (156).
    –most hits with 570, breaking the old record of 548 set in 1998.
