The victory gave UH a 10-win season for just the sixth time in school history (1925, ’92, ’02, ’06, ’07, and ’10).
UH has recorded at least two interceptions in 10 straight games.
Mana Silva’s interception in the third quarter gave him a UH career record of 14. The previous record was 13 by Keone Jardine and Kelvin Milhouse
During its last 10 games, the UH defense has forced 31 turnovers, including 23 interceptions.
Salas’ 54-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter was his longest of the season.
Salas has caught a pass in 40 straight games dating back to his sophomore season.
After converting all eight of his extra points, Scott Enos extended his school record of consecutive PATs. He’s converted 100 straight in his two seasons at UH. Enos also owns a school-record of 66 consecutive PATs this season.
With 136 yards on the ground, Alex Green tallied his fourth 100-yard rushing game this season and the fifth of his career. Green’s season total is 1,168, the second-highest single-season rushing total in UH history.
Bryant Moniz’s two rushing touchdowns vs. UNLV are a career high.
Senior Mike Tinoco recorded his first catch of the year with a 39-yard reception in the fourth quarter.
Senior linebacker/running back Jake Heun scored the first rushing touchdown of his career with a 3-yard plunge in the fourth quarter.
UH has scored 40 or more points eight times this season.
