2001 (Junior): Played in 18 matches, starting two...valuable utility defender appeared on both flanks and in the middle of the Rainbow Wahine defense...also saw action at wing midfielder...earned NSCAA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

2000 (Sophomore): Played in eight matches, starting two at outside defender...made first collegiate start on the road at UC Santa Barbara (Sep. 8)...also started against Oral Roberts (Oct. 16)...took no shots...academic all-WAC.

1999 (Freshman): Played in one match...saw action at central midfielder against Oral Roberts (Sept. 17)...took no shots.

Prep: A 1999 graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu... earned three letters each in soccer and track... helped lead Punahou to 1998 state champion soccer team...also a member of the three-time state champion track team (1997-99)...member of the Save the Earth Club.

Personal: Born Dec. 8, 1981, in Honolulu...enjoys surfing and cruising with friends...biggest athletic thrill was winning the 1998 state soccer championship....favorites include Michael Jordan, the movie "The Wedding Singer" and the book <i>Cat's Cradle</i>...parents are Teresa and Harvey Takemoto of Honolulu.
