2002 (Sophomore): Team leader in goals (45)...started 29 of 30 matches...finished second on the team in attempts (137), assists (7), and steals (45)...had season-high five goals in seven attempts vs. UC Irvine (3/28)...posted 12 multiple goal matches...had six hat tricks...recorded six steals against UC Davis (3/30)...notched four goals and two steals in season-opener versus Indiana.

2001 (Freshman): Put together an outstanding freshman campaign......an honorable mention All-MPSF selection...appeared in 34 of 35 matches...second on the squad with 46 goals on the season...scored in 25 of 34 matches... multiple goals in 14 matches, including four hat tricks... career-high six goals at UC Irvine, the second-highest total in school-history ... three goals in matches vs. Santa Clara and CS Bakersfield...scored the game-winning goals in 8-7 win over UC Santa Barbara in MPSF Tournament and overtime goal in 6-5 win at Long Beach State.

Prep:  A 2000 graduate of Riverside Poly High School in Riverside, Calif...earned one letter in basketball, two in volleyball, three in water polo and four in swimming...earned All-America honors in water polo...named all-league twice...also named all-league in volleyball (twice) and swimming (four times)...named all-league academic four times.

Personal:   Born June 17, 1982, in Tustin, Calif...also recruited by San Diego State, San Jose State, Massachusetts, Indiana, Brown and UC Davis...favorite part about water polo is the aggression and intensity of the game...favorites include Muhammad Ali, Gwenyth Paltrow and the movie "Ace Ventura"...has an older sister...parents are Joan and Eric Garner of Riverside, Calif.
