2002 (Sophomore): Started 27 of 28 matches...scored career-high three goals against Cal Baptist (4/13)...finished fourth on the team in goals (19) and steals (36)...also posted two goals versus California (3/1) and Stanford (4/26)...posted three goals each against Indiana (2/9), at Pacific (3/2), Brown (3/29), and California (4/27).

2001 (Freshman): Appeared in 19 matches...recorded 10 goals on 24 shots...added four assists and 14 steals...tallied six goals in four starts....scored twice in matches vs. Hartwick (NY) College (2/11), Villanova (3/9) and at Redlands (3/9).

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Jurupa Valley High School in Mira Loma, Calif...earned four letters each in swimming and water polo...earned all-league honors in swimming and water polo while competing in the Mountain View and Ivy leagues...also team captain of both squads... member of the Art Club...and honor student.

Personal: Born Oct. 26, 1982, in Riverside, Calif...chose Hawai`i over Villanova, San Diego State, Queens College and Michigan... aspires to become an animator or kindergarten teacher...favorite spot on campus is the pool...advice to kids is to play water polo...has three older brothers and one older sister...parents are Patricia and Bob Kocher of Riverside, Calif.
