2003 (Senior): Played 108 games and started every match of the season...named AVCA second-team all-American...selected AVCA all-west region...first-team all-WAC...posted 488 kills on the season with 376 digs and 64.0 blocks...twice recorded a season-high 25 kills and had a season-high 21 digs vs. Stanford (9/13).
2002 (Junior): Started 35 matches at left-side hitter...earned first-team AVCA All-America honors...also named to the All-West Region team and first-team All-WAC...averaged 5.27 kills per game, 3.19 digs per game and 0.54 blocks per game while hitting .333...had six 20-plus kill matches and 17 double-doubles...put up 25 kills in the NCAA regional final vs. Nebraska (12/14)...had a career-high 33 kills at Fresno State (11/15) while hitting .418, earning her AVCA/Sports Imports National Player of the Week honors...hit .739 with 17 kills and no errors on 23 attempts vs. San Diego State (9/6)...posted 26 kills to lead the Rainbow Wahine to the Wahine Classic championship over UCLA (9/2)...named WAC Player of the Week twice (10/21 and 11/18)...earned all-tournament honors for the Wahine Classic, Imua Challenge, WAC Tournament and NCAA Regional.
2001: Sat out the season for personal reasons...redshirted.
2000 (Sophomore): Named the WAC Player of the Year and first team AVCA All-American...was also named to the AVCA All-West Region team and to the NCAA Championship all-tournament team...also made the Verizon academic All-District VII team...led the team with 4.51 kills per game, while finishing fifth on the team with 2.10 digs per game...led the team in kills during 19 matches...recorded seven double-doubles, including 26 double-digit and five 20-plus kill matches...missed a few games due to a wrist injury ...top performance of the season came against Long Beach State in the NCAA Tournament (12/7), tallying career highs in kills (23), digs (17) and blocks (six).
1999 (Freshman): Selected as AVCA District VII and WAC freshman of the year...also was the only freshman named to the all-WAC first team... ranked second on the squad in kills (3.31) ....291 hitting percentage placed her sixth in WAC standings.
Prep: A 1999 graduate of Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu...led her high school team to consecutive state titles in 1997 and 1998 and was named Hawai`i state player of the year both seasons...chosen as Hawai`i High School Volleyball Athlete of the Year by the Gatorade Circle of Champions as well as Volleyball magazine second-team All-America in her junior and senior seasons...lettered two years in volleyball and one in track...coached in volleyball by Dan Kitashima...was an honor roll student during her senior year...transferred from Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas, where she earned all-state honors in 1996...National Junior Honor Society member in the ninth grade.
Personal: Born Lily K. Kahumoku on June 24, 1981, in Charleston, S.C...chose UH because she wanted to stay in Hawai`i...enjoys skateboarding, surfing and being with friends...plans to major in psychology... career goal is to own a sports psychology firm.
