2003 (Senior): Played in 37 matches and 101 games...recorded 183 digs and 182 kills on the season...finished with a .402 attack percentage and talied 61 total blocks.
2002 (Junior): Started 22 matches at the right-side hitter position...hit .342 with 1.33 kills per game, 0.89 digs per game and 0.52 blocks per game...hit .444 with five kills, including the first three kills for Hawai`i, in the NCAA Regional final at Nebraska (12/14)...had a seven-kill, .500-hitting percentage match at Brigham Young (11/26)...posted seven kills and a .545 hitting percentage vs. Boise State (11/9)...missed four matches with an injured ankle...had six kills, eight digs and four assists vs. Cal Poly (9/13)...hit a perfect 1.000 with five kills on five attempts vs. San Francisco (9/6).
2001 (Sophomore): Started 25 matches at the middle hitter position...put up a great performance against her former teammates at Washington State (11/30) with eith kills, 13 digs, three blocks and a .727 hitting percentage in their NCAA first round matchup.
Prior To UH: Played one season at Washington State as a backup middle blocker and outside hitter...played in 12 games, amassing four kills, 15 digs, three assists, one ace and four blocks.
Prep: A 2000 graduate of Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu...earned four varsity letters under coach Dan Kitashima...her team won both the ILH and state championships from 1998-2000, including a vball.com No. 1 national ranking at the end of her senior year.
Personal: Born in Honolulu...recruited out of high school by UNLV, Colorado and Hawai`i...intends to major in psychology...enjoys playing basketball and going to the beach...favorites include NBA star Allen Iverson, the color orange, Hawaiian food, the movie "Sixteen Candles" and actress Drew Barrymore...has an infant son, Koby...has five older brothers, Ken Jr., Dustin, Kimo, Erik and Kawika, and one sister, Kiana...parents are Candy and Ken Tano of Kailua, Oahu.
