Biography

2011-12 (Senior): Holds team’s top time in the 50 freestyle (20.11), 100 freestyle (44.45), and 100 backstroke (58.62)…swam three individual events and five relays at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 15-17) and won the 50 freestyle earning a new personal best (20.11) and setting a new meet record…finished third in the 100 backstroke (49.17) and second in the 100 freestyle…also swam in the Arena Invitational (Nov. 17) earning a new personal best of 58.62 in the 100 backstroke.

2010-11 (Junior): Helped lead the Warriors to their first Conference-USA Invitational Championship title (Feb. 23-26)…finished in the top six or better in all six of his events…was part of the teams that won the 200 medley relay (1:28.43) and 200 freestyle relay (1:19.44) events….swam the first leg for the team that finished second in the 400 medley relay (3:15.88)…earned personal bests in all three individual events after placing second in the 200 freestyle (1:38.14), fourth in the 50 free (20.41), and sixth in the 100 free (45.29)…holds the team’s top time in the 200 free…also earned a personal best in the 100 back (51.51), taking second in a tri-meet against Wyoming and UC San Diego (Jan. 29).

2009-10 (Sophomore): Earned two personal bests at the Conference USA Championships (Feb. 24-27) taking sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:28.97) and seventh in the 100 free (45.31)…was also part of the team that took second in the 800 free relay (6:33.00)…earned a personal best in the 50 free (21.08) at the Toshiba Classic (Nov.
19)…was part of the team that finished second in the 200 free relay (1:26.38) against Stanford (Oct. 10).

2008-09 (Freshman): Part of teams that finished second in the 200-meter medley relay (1:28.61), 200-meter freestyle relay (1:18.82) and 400-meter freestyle relay (2:56.75), and a team that placed third in the 800-meter freestyle relay (6:37.23), finished third in the 50 free (20.28) and fifth in both 200 free (1:39.07) and 100 free (44.89) events at the Conference USA Championships (Feb. 25-28)…finished second in the 200 free (1:43.65) at the Big West Shootout (Nov. 7-8).
