Biography

2004-05 (Sophomore): Accumulated a 7-16 overall singles record...played the entire season at the No. 2 court, where she compiled a 5-13 dual match record...suffered a nagging wrist injury which kept her out of five matches...tallied a 14-10 doubles record with seven different partners...she and partner Justine Boutet accumulated a 8-1 record at the No. 2 court.

2003-04 (Freshman): Finished the year with a 9-15 overall singles mark, including a 8-13 record in dual matches...alternated between the No. 2 and 3 singles courts...was 4-7 at No. 2, and 4-6 at No. 3...at one stretch during the season, won five of six matches...strung together a three-match win streak (Feb. 6-15)...accumulated a 5-17 doubles record with five different partners...recorded a 2-10 record with partner Justine Boutet but finished the season at No. 1 with Kimberly Curtis, where they were 1-3.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School...qualified for nationals every year since her first year in the under-14 category...went to the semi-finals in the under-18 ITF in Barbados in 2000...also recruited by Long Island University and Georgia State.

Personal: Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...has one brother...parents are Janusz and Anna Jaros of Toronto, Canada.
