Biography

2001-02 (Senior): Recorded a 13-13 record while playing at the No. 3, 4 and 5 courts...was 8-2 on the No. 5 court...won eight of nine matches in the month of March...received all-WAC academic honors.

2001-02 (Junior): Finished the season with a 14-8 overall singles record and was 13-7 in the No. 4 position...recorded a 1-2 mark in doubles...received academic all-WAC honors.

2000-01 (Sophomore): Finished the season with a 20-11 overall singles record and a 10-5 doubles record...posted a 9-5 doubles mark with Jorge Gonzalez and Jeremy Perez in the No. 3 spot...defeated Chris Smith of nationally ranked Sacramento State 7-6, 6-4... he is recognized as a UH Scholar-Athlete and earned WAC All-Academic honors with a 4.0 GPA...named to the Intercollegiate Tenis Association Division 1 Academic All-America team, an award given to juniors and seniors who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher during the collegiate careers.

1999-00 (Freshman): Finished with a 8-14 overall singles record...defeated Felix Hutt of New Mexico State 6-1, 2-6, 6-4, in a marathon 3-hour match...downed players from Division I schools Portland, Sonoma State and Oklahoma ...posted a 6-5 doubles mark with Regi Moralejo and Malino Oda...received WAC All-Academic honors with a 4.00 GPA.

1998-99: Redshirted
