Biography

2011-12 (Senior): Dove three events at the NCAA Championships (Mar. 22-24)…finished 18th on the platform (313.10), 30th on the 1 meter (255.05) and 31st on the 3 meter (290.40)…won the platform (365.30) at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 16-18)…also finished second on the 3 meter (367.05) and second on the 1 meter (334.50)…broke two personal bests against Wisconsin (Jan. 14) after winning the 1 meter (373.50) and taking second in the 3 meter (387.90)…also earned top marks at the Texas Diving Invitational (Dec. 1-3) finishing 2nd on the platform with a personal best score of 370.50. 

2010-11 (Junior): Totaled nine first-place finishes on the season...helped lead the Warriors to their first Conference USA Invitational championship title…won both the 3 meter (355.05) and platform (325.60) dives, earning personal bests in both…took second on the 1 meter (318.50)….earned a personal best on the 1 meter at the Senior Diving Invitational (Oct. 23) with a score of 337.85…advanced to the NCAA Zone E Championships where he finished 8th on the platform (608.90), 11th on the 1 meter (589.50) and 22nd in the preliminaries of the 3 meter event (263.55).  


2009-10 (Sophomore): Advanced to the NCAA Zone E diving meet in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform…won the platform dive (327.55) at the Conference USA Championships…also earned a personal best after finishing second on the three-meter (335.50) and finished second on the one-meter (309.80)…placed third on the three-meter at the Hawaii Diving Invitational (Jan. 7-8)…earned a personal best on the one-meter (312.75) after placing third at the Texas Diving Invitational (Dec. 3-5)…finished third on the three-meter (314.45) against Wisconsin (Jan. 9))…dove against Stanford (Oct. 10) and placed second on the three-meter (319.05) and third on the one-meter (293.93)…won both the one-meter (294.00) and three-meter (309.90) against California (Oct. 9).


2008-09 (Freshman): Finished second in the 1-meter (290.00), 3-meter (345.50) and platform (299.45) events at the Conference USA Championships (Feb. 25-28)…won the 3-meter (301.75) and platform (330.95) dives at the Rainbow Diving Invitational (Jan. 16-17)…won the 1-meter dive (298.25) at the Hawaii Diving Invitational (Jan. 7-8)…finished fourth in both the platform (279.75) and 3-meter (340.50) dives at the Texas Diving Invitational…won the 3-meter dive (295) at the Big West Shootout (Nov. 7-8).

Prep: A 2008 graduate of Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colo.…earned four letters in diving for coach Scott Cohen…won the 2008 5A Colorado State Championships…was a four-year All-American…a 12-time National Qualifier and two-time AAU National Champion in 2008…a member of Mile High Dive Club for five years.
Personal: Born in Torrance, Calif..…plans to major in psychology…has two younger brothers…parents are Gail and Steve Cohen of Centennial, Colo.
