Biography

2010-11 (Senior): Team’s lone senior concluded the regular season with an overall record of 12-18 and a dual match record of 9-12…went 4-2 at the No. 3 position and 5-10 at the No. 4 position…finished with a 2-3 record against WAC opponents…won three singles matches in a row against Idaho (Apr. 1), Louisiana Tech (Apr. 3) and Albany (Apr. 19)…played the first half of doubles season with Aglae Van den Bergh, where the pair went 1-10 in dual matches…finished the season with partner, Xenia Suworowa…the duo finished with a dual match record of 3-2.

2009-10 (Junior): Went 11-10 in dual matches while playing at the No. 3 , 4 and 5 positions...played the most matches at the No. 5 court, going 8-3…posted a 4-3 singles record in conference play...went 4-4 in three-set matches….won eight of her final 11 matches of the season, including the last three straight….went 4-10 in doubles action, while playing with partners Sophie Kobuch (0-2) and Aglae Van den Berg (4-8)...all-WAC academic.

2008-09 (Sophomore):  Posted a 1-4 record in dual matches at the No. 2 position before being sidelined for the rest of the season... picked up lone win of the year with a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Clare Fermin Won of No. 65 UC Irvine...was 1-3 in doubles while teaming with Alyssa Nafarrete at the No. 2 and 3 courts.

2007-08 (Freshman): Accumulated an 8-18 overall singles record...went 8-15 in dual matches at the No. 2, 3, 4, and 5 positions...finished the season winning five of her last six singles matches, including a win at the No. 2 court at the WAC Championships against New Mexico State...posted a 6-17 doubles mark...went 5-15 in dual matches at the No. 2 and 3 postions...played primarily with partner Jennifer Goldman and was 6-15 overall...ended the season winning four of final five matches with partner Goldman at the No. 2 court.

Personal: Born in Maribor, Slovenia...majoring in international business and finance...has one older sister...parents are Danilo and Lidija Zorec of Maribor.
