Biography

2010-11 (Sophomore): Named first-team all-WAC in singles and second-team all-WAC in doubles with partner Barbara Pinterova… posted a team best overall record of 19-11 and dual match record of 15-6…went 3-2 against WAC opponents…played primarily at the No. 1 position, where she went 9-6…defeated nationally ranked player, then No. 43 Mary Clayton of then No. 7 Duke… went on a seven-match win streak defeating opponents from No. 7 Duke (Jan.8), San Francisco (Jan. 26 & 28), No. 73 BYU (Jan. 29), Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 5), No. 65 UC Irvine (Feb. 6) and No. 51 Pepperdine (Feb. 8)… received WAC Player of the Week honors for Jan. 24-during the middle of her win streak…finished the doubles season with an overall record of 10-13 and dual match record of 6-9 with partner Pinterova…the duo tallied UH’s only doubles victory in the loss against then No. 43 Long Beach State (Feb. 10).

2009-10 (Freshman): Named all-WAC first team in doubles along with partner Sophie Kobuch... went 14-7 in doubles action, including a 13-6 mark with Kobuch…the pair went 10-2 in their final 12 matches, including a 5-1 in mark in league play while playing at the No. 1 court…picked up the team’s lone win over a ranked opponent—in doubles or singles—with am 8-3 win over No. 38 Lauren Megale and Pichittra Thongdach of Boise State…in singles, went 13-11 in dual matches while playing at the top three courts...went 2-3 at the No. 1 position, 3-4 at the No. 2 position and 8-4 at the No. 3 position… posted a 5-2 record in three-set matches... 4-3 singles record in conference play...ended the season wining five of her final six singles matches...all-WAC academic.

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Gymnazium Dominika Tatarku…trained with the Vysoke Tatry Tennis Club for five years…runner-up in the 2004 singles national championship…two-time winner of national championship in doubles (2004, ’06)… earned highest ranking of 824 in ITF women’s singles and 541 in doubles. 

Personal: Born in Poprad, Slovakia...plans to major in international business...has one younger sister...parents are Marcel Dolak and Stahislava Dolakova of Vysoke Tatry, Slovakia.
