Biography

2008-09 (Senior):  Finished 11-14 overall in singles...tallied an 11-10 dual match record...played mostly at the No. 5 position, going 8-9 in dual matches...won five of his final six singles matches ...helped UH successfully defend its WAC Tournament title with singles wins in all three tournament matches and a pair of doubles victories...named to the all-tournament team for his performance....helped UH to its first-ever NCAA Tournament win with a straight-set win over Anton Bobytskyiat of No. 20 Oklahoma State...finished 11-14 overall and 8-12 in dual matches during doubles play...went 2-2 against ranked opponents when teaming with Dennis Lajola, including wins over No 37  Mirko Zapletal and Rudolf Siwy of Fresno State in the WAC Tournament semifinals (Apr. 25) and No. 52 Michael Look and Nick Meister of UCLA (May 9) during the NCAA Tournament second round.

2007-08 (Junior): Finished with a 9-13 overall mark...posted an 8-11 record in dual matches, playing at the No. 4, 5, and 6 positions...finished 2-5 at No. 4, 2-6 at No. 5 and 4-0 at No. 6...went 3-0 in singles play at the Western Athletic Conference Championships...won five of his final six singles matches... named the WAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 24-30...went 11-8 in doubles play...teamed primarily with Dennis Lajola for a majority of matches at No. 2, where they went 8-4.

2006-07 (Sophomore): Competed in a team-high 31 matches and finished with a 16-15 overall mark...posted an 8-10 record in dual matches, playing primarily at No. 5...finished 1-1 at No. 4, 4-8 at No. 5 and 3-1 at No. 6...advanced into the main draw of the USTA Waikoloa Futures tournament with three qualifying wins... went 8-11 in doubles play, including a 5-7 mark in dual matches...teamed with Chad Faulk for a majority of matches at No.3, where they went 5-6.

2005-06 (Freshman): Finished with a 7-10 overall singles record...was 6-6 in dual matches, including a 5-5 mark at No. 6...was 2-2 in three-set matches...won four of his last six singles matches...amassed a 12-6 doubles record with three different partners...teamed with Bryon Weinberg for an 11-5 record primarily at No. 2, where they were 9-4.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, Calif...earned four letters in tennis...teamed with brother Jayce to win the C.I.F. Palomar League doubles state championship during sophomore year...also recruited by UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, and San Diego State.

Personal: Born in Carlsbad, Calif...intends to major in business administration...has two brothers...parents are Jackie and Craig Fitch of Carlsbad, Calif.
