• Competed in all 18 of UH’s dual matches, notching an 8-9 overall singles record while going 3-6 in the Big West
• Posted a 5-7 record on the No. 5 Court and a 3-2 mark playing at No. 6
• Won three of her first four singles matches, tallying wins over #22 Washington’s Carina Syrtveit (Jan. 14), Sacramento State’s Palina Saulevich (Jan. 23), and Utah’s Dylan Lolofie (Feb. 6).
• At the Big West Championship, clinched Hawai‘i’s opening win over UC Davis (4-3) defeating Aileen Hu, 6-4, -6, 6-2 (April 23)
• In doubles posted a 4-12 overall record and a 1-7 record in conference on the No. 3 Court. 
• Started the season with a 2-4 record with partner Emma Forgac. Finished the season with partner Isabella Pampulov with a 2-8 mark.

2024-25 (Junior)

• Competed in two singles matches--both in dual matches against UC Riverside on the No. 6 court. First match was on the road at Riverside (2/19/25) where she recorded her first dual match win as.a Rainbow Wahine, sweeping UCR's Sam Condevillamar, 6-3, 6-2. Berl's second singles match vs. Condevillamar was in the Big West Championship (4/24/25)  went unfinished.
• Recorded a win in only dual match, doubles match of the season. With partner Nikola Homolkova plaing at No.3, notched a 6-4 win over North Dakota's Andrea Pineda / Alyssa Giupponi on (2/1/25)

• Attended two seasons at Kenyon College.
• Earned the team captain title in 2024.
• Was an All-American in 2023.
• Named to the 2023 and 2024 All-NCAC first team in singles and doubles while earning doubles team of the year in 2024.
• Won the NCAC Championship in 2023 and 2024.
• In singles, posted a 20-8 record in her last year with the team.
• In doubles, tallied an overall record of 17-8. Registered a 13-6 record with partner Eleni Lazaridou while posting a 4-2 record with partner Eleni Dakos.
• Named to the 2024 ITA Scholar-Athlete list.

Prep:

• A 2022 graduate of St. Andrew’s High School (Middletown, Del.).
• Registered four varsity letters in tennis
• Named MVP all four years while being named the team captain her senior year

Personal:

• Born in Hartford, Conn., but raised in Westport, Mass.
• Has two older sisters.
• Parents are Chris and Lou Berl of Westport, Mass.
