2023-24 (Freshman)

• True freshman played in 28 games.
• Averaged 2.4 points and 1.0 rebounds in 6.7 minutes per game.
• Shot 40 percent from the floor (24-of-60) and 34.8 percent from three (16-of-46), while hitting all four of his free throw attempts on the season.
• Made multiple three-pointers in four games.
• Scored in 15 games, including a stretch of 10 straight.
• Scored season-high eight points and added three rebounds in less than eight minutes of action to contribute to UH’s home win over UC Davis.
• Tallied eight points and four rebounds in the Big West Championship semifinals against UC Davis.
• Named to Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll.
• Competed for Team Japan in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
• Became just the second Rainbow Warrior ever and the first in more than 50 years to compete in (5x5) basketball in the Olympics, joining Tom Henderson (USA, 1972).

• A member of the NBA Global Academy for two years.  
• Became the first Japanese prospect to join the NBA Global Academy on a full-time basis
• Competed for the Japanese national team at the 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup in Hungary.
• Led Japan to its highest-ever finish in the event, while finishing fifth among all players in scoring (17.0 ppg).
• Had 20+ points in three games and shot 41.5 percent from three in the tournament
• A year prior, Jacobs was part of the Japanese national team that won silver at the FIBA U18 Asia Championship, thus qualifying for the U19 World Cup.
• Became the youngest player to appear in the first division of the  B. League, Japan's pro basketball league at 17 years old. 
• A little more than two months later he became the youngest player to score in a B.League game.
• Played first two seasons of prep basketball at Redondo Union High School and Dymally High School in Southern California.
• As a sophomore, was named CIF L.A. City Section Player of the Year while playing for Dymally.
