Biography

2024 (Freshman):
  • Appeared in 25 games with 12 starts at second base
  • Hit .250 (9-for-36) at the plate with six runs scored, two doubles, a home run and four RBI
  • Went 1-for-1 with a walk and subbed at shortstop in her collegiate debut vs. Ole Miss on Feb. 10
  • Started 11 of the last 14 games at second after Maya Nakamura suffered season-ending injury on Apr. 6
  • Launched her first home run against Cal Poly (Apr. 6)

  • A 2023 graduate of Kalani High School in Honolulu, O’ahu
  • Earned four varsity letters in softball and one in basketball
  • In 2023, earned all-league first team honors and all-state third team honors and was named the Falcons' softbal team's Most Valuable Player
  • Voted to the 2022 all-league second team in softball 
  • Helped the Falcons earn co-first place in the OIA east and appeared in the state's DI tournament for the first time in 15 years

  • Grandfather Les Murakami was Hawai‘i's head baseball coach from 1971-2000. The Rainbow Baseball Stadium was renamed the Les Murakami Stadium in 2002. 
  • Played club softball for two years for CA Bombers 18U Cordero
  • In 2023, finished the Bombers season with a .421 batting average, two home runs, eight hits and three stolen bases
  • Pitched in the 12U Cal Ripken Regional and made the all-tournament team.
