Biography

2022: 
  • Set two new personal bests in the 5000m (18:12.52) and 3000m (10:43.84)
  • Finished 29th at the Big West Championships
2021:
  • First season competing in cross country at UH.
  • The only freshman to compete in all seven cross country meets, finishing within Hawaii’s top five in all of them.
  • Earned her first Big West Athlete of the Week honor for her performance at the Chaminade Invitational, coming in first with a time of 19:47.1 and leading Hawaii to winning the meet.
  • Ran a 5k PR at the Charles Bowles Invitational with a time of 19:01.4, placing 24th overall.
Prep:
  • Won the 3,200 meters at the Continental League Championships in track and field.
  • Earned Newcomer of the Year award for cross country.
  • Ran 5:35.02 in the 1,600 meters at the Nike Rotary USATF meet in 2021.  
Personal:
  • Parents are Matthew and Jennifer North.
  • Has ond older brother, Kevin, one older sister, Sydney, and one younger brother, Jack.
  • Majoring in journalism.
  • Born in Hillboro, Ore. before moving to Colorado.
  • Did not start running until the pandemic happened. Enjoyed running so much she joined her schools cross country team.
