Prior To UH: Played his freshman season at Riverside City College...averaged 12.9 ppg, 4.2 rpg, and 2.3 apg for a squad that finished with 23 wins...was particularly deadly from deep, nailing a team-high 72 three-pointers at a 41-percent clip...also shot a team-best 83-percent from the free throw line...topped 20 or more points on three occasions, highlighted by a 22-point performance in the Southern California Regional Final.

Prep: A 2016 graduate of Taft High School...a four-year letterwinner in basketball...as a senior, averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists per game...was named the MVP of the West Valley League after leading his team to 26 wins and the league title with a perfect 10-0 record...also named first-team all-city....also lettered twice in track...a two-time league champion in the high jump...a member of the Dean’s List...recipient of the Conquistador Award.

Personal: Born in Berkeley, Calif...nickname is “BT”...majoring in fashion design and merchandising...older brother Mike is a senior forward on the UH squad...parents are John and Karen Thomas of Northridge, Calif.
