2016 (Junior): Appeared in 28 matches, making 27 starts at outside hitter…ranked third on the team with a 2.61 kill average…also averaged 1.38 digs and 0.50 blocks per set while hitting .241…tallied 15 service aces…career-high 23 kills, hitting .341 (23-8-44) against USC (Feb. 16)…10 matches with double figure kills…posted second career double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs, including career-best three service aces versus Cal Baptist (April 8)…matched career-high of six blocks against UC Irvine (March 25)…had 19 kills, hitting .361 (19-6-36), with six digs and three blocks in series opener versus USC (Feb. 15)…posted 17 kills, hitting .483, seven digs, and three blocks at Stanford (Feb. 14)…notched 12 kills versus UCLA in the MPSF Tournament quarterfinals.
2015 (Sophomore): Played in all 31 matches making 25 starts at outside hitter...tallied 214 kills (2.03 K/S), 33 assists (0.31 A/S), 19 service aces, 164 digs (1.55 D/S), and 56 blocks (three solo)… hit three matches in double-figure kills out of the last five matches of the season hitting seven matches in the double-figures...recorded his first career double-double with 17 kills and 12 digs towards UH’s MPSF Quarterfinal victory over Long Beach State (April 25)…netted a career-high 19 kills at Brigham Young (April 17) and a career-high six blocks against Penn State (May 5) in the NCAA Play-In.
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 15 matches playing in 23 sets as a backup outside hitter… averaged 1.04 kills, 0.65 digs, and 0.13 blocks per set…season-high seven kills each against Long Beach State (Jan. 16) and at USC (Feb. 20)…also recorded three digs, two blocks and his only ace of the season against the Beach…hit .455 against the Trojans along with two digs and two assists…had six kills in the rematch against LBSU (Jan. 17), hitting .364 along with season-high five digs…averaged 2.17 kills and 1.33 digs per set during the LBSU series.
Prep: A 2013 graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…lettered three years in both volleyball and basketball...led volleyball to consecutive state titles in 2012 and ’13 and three straight Interscholastic League of Honolulu titles from 2011-13…member of state runner-up team as a sophomore…
