School’s only A.P. first-team All-American in 1986. Touted as the “Samoan Sack Man,” was promoted as the school’s first Heisman Trophy candidate. Named the WAC’s Defensive Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Outland Trophy. Set single-season school records of 17 sacks, 31 tackles-for-loss, and six forced fumbles.
