2013-14 (Senior):  Competed in eight tournaments…averaged 76.6 strokes per round…season-best 15th place finish at the Aloha @ O‘ahu Invitational with a score of 152…season-low 54-hole score was 222 (73-72-77) at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, where he also shot his low round of 72 during the second round…tied for 44th at the Big West Championship with a 159 total.

2012-13 (Junior): Competed in eight tournaments…averaged 78.6 strokes per round…best finish was 50th at the Big West Conference Championship, where he shot 252…low round was 1-over 73 during the first round of the St. Regis Princeville Warrior-Wave Invitational…low 54-hole score was 229 at both the Alister Mackenzie Invitational and ASU Thunderbird Invitational.
 
2011-12 (Sophomore): Competed in six tournaments…averaged 76.8 strokes per round…career-best finish was a tie for 10th at the Kaua‘i Collegiate Invitational, where he shot 2-over 218…low round was 72 during the third round of the Kaua‘i Invitational and first round of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate…tied for 60th at the Burns with a 228 total.

2010-11 (Freshman): Competed in six of 10 tournaments…ranked second on the team with a 76.6 strokes per round average…best finish was a tie for 16th at the Kaua‘i Collegiate Invitational, where he shot 6-over 222…low round occurred on Kaua‘i with a final round 1-under 71…tied for 32nd at the WAC Championships (23)…shot 10-over 223 at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational.

Prep: A 2010 graduate of Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama in Honolulu, O‘ahu…lettered four years in golf…named the 2010 ILH Player of the Year…also named 2008 ILH first team, and 2007 and 2009 ILH second team…member of the 2007 ILH and HHSAA championship team.

Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu…majoring in business management…has one younger brother…parents are Grace and Tom Yamashita of Kapolei, O‘ahu.
