2015 (Senior):
Appeared in 27 games with seven starts in leftfield...hit .206 (7-for-34) with eight runs scored and two RBI...was 1-for-1 in stolen bases...helped to lift UH to an 8-7 extra inning win over Longwood (Mar. 5) when she went 2-for-2 with two runs scored--including the game-tying run in the bottom of the seventh...went 2-for-3 in opening game of three-game series against UC Davis as UH overcame an early 5-1 deficit for a 10-5 win...recorded a season high two putouts twice, the last time coming against UC Davis (May 8).

2014 (Junior):
Appeared in 23 games and started three in leftfield…hit .200 for the season (2-for-10) with a .500 slugging percentage…had a career high three at-bats against Utah (2/16/2014)…hit first career home run and drove in a career high two runs against St. Mary’s (2/21/2014).

2013 (Sophomore):
Appeared in seven games...scored one run against Portland State (3/9/13)...drew two walks at Pacific in second game of doubleheader on May 10.

2012 (Freshman):
Appeared in 12 games—primarily a pinch runner—but also saw action in the outfield in five games…scored six runs while batting .167 (1-for-6) as a freshman…got first collegiate hit and first RBI at Utah Valley (April 4).

Prep:
A 2011 graduate of Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, Calif….earned four varsity letters in softball and two in basketball…helped lead the Grizzlies to the league championship in 2011…earned honorable mention honors and Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2008; named defensive Player of the Year while earning honorable mention honors in 2009…named second team all-leage as a junior and a senior…voted team captain as a junior and a senior...academically earned a spot on the Union Tribune Academic Honor Roll in 2008, ’09, ’10, and ’11…was a team captain for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and volunteered at the Red Cross.
 
Personal:
Born in Escondido, Calif…nickname is “Jojo”…majoring in family resources…has two older brothers, an older sister and a younger brother…parents are Scott and Janet Burton of Escondido, Calif.
