th nationally in blocking…season-high 10 kills each against Cal Baptist (Feb. 14) and BYU (April 4)…career-high four service aces against Cal Baptist (Feb. 14) and eight blocks against UCLA (March 1)…had seven matches with eight or more kills… hit .400 or better in 13 matches including career-best .636 at Pacific (March 17) with eight kills, one error, in 11 attempts… averaged 2.38 kills per set and hit .548 in BYU series…hit .562 (10-1-16) in the opener and .533 (9-1-15) in the rematch…completed six matches without a hitting error…had nine kills with no errors in 15 swings against Penn State (Jan. 10) in the Outrigger Invitational…named to the Outrigger all-tournament team after averaging 2.36 kills and 0.64 blocks per set while hitting .478 in the three matches.
2013 (Junior): Started seven matches at middle blocker…appeared in 23 matches and 64 sets…made six starts through the team’s first eight matches…also started against BYU (April 20) in the MPSF Tournament quarterfinals…averaged 1.08 kills and 0.66 blocks per set while hitting .301…season-bests of 10 kills, two aces, and six blocks at Long Beach State (Jan. 18)…had nine kills with no errors in 26 attempts against Ohio State (Jan. 10) in the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Invitational.
2012 (Sophomore): Started all 27 matches and appeared in 101 sets at middle blocker…averaged 1.81 kills and team-leading 0.92 blocks per set…hit .370 on the season which ranked 15th in the MPSF…posted six matches with double-figure kills…season-high 13 kills in both matches against Grand Canyon (Jan. 27 & 28)…averaged 2.89 kills and 1.22 blocks per set on .550 hitting against the Antelopes…had 12 kills and season-high eight blocks at Pacific (Feb. 3)…seven matches with six or more kills…hit .400 or better in nine matches including season-best .636 (7-0-11) against Springfield (Jan. 12)…third on the team with 13 service aces…career-high three aces at USC (March 2).
Prior To UH: Attended UC Irvine for one and a half years…redshirted in 2010 and played the fall season prior to the 2011 season.
Prep: A 2009 graduate of El Dorado High School in Placentia, Calif…earned four letters in volleyball…member of two-time Century League championship team…earned first-team all-league twice in 2008 and ’09 and was picked as co-MVP in 2008…named second-team all-league in 2007…had 34 kills against Katella which ranked third in the school record books for a three-game match…played club ball for the O.C. Riptides from 2008-09.
