2015-16 (Senior): One of two UH players to start in all 32 games…averaged 26.3 minutes per game…finished the season ranked No. 3 on the team with an average of 8.5 points per game while averaging 3.9 rebounds per game...led the team in 3-pointers for the third-straight season, sinking 42 on the year…poured in a season-high 19 points vs. CSU Bakersfield (11/27/15)…made a season-high five 3-pointers in Big West Tournament championship game vs. UC Davis (Mar. 12)…recorded a season-high nine rebounds at CSUN (Jan. 23)…dished out five assists vs. UC Davis (Feb. 18)…had 3 blocked shots at Sacramento State (12/20/15)…finished her career ranked at No. 13 in the Rainbow Wahine record books with 1,167 career points to go with 578 rebounds…became the 19
th player in Rainbow Wahine history to join the 1,000 point club…earned second team all-Big West honors for a second year in a row.
2014-15 (Junior): Started 30 out of 31 games this season…averaged a team-high 24.2 minutes per game…led Hawai‘i sinking a team-high 45 3-pointers which ranks her at No. 8 in UH’s single-season record book…tied at No. 3 with a school single-season record attempting 160 treys…finished the season second on the team averaging 10.0 points and third on the team averaging 5.0 rebounds per game…was a stellar defender taking 20+ charges on defense while fouling out just four times the entire season…scored in double-figures a team-high 21 times…recorded game highs for the ‘Bows in rebounds five times; in assists 10 times; in steals seven times and in blocked shots four times this season…scored a season-high 15 points at UC Riverside (Jan. 17) on 5-of-9 shooting with three treys…made a season-high three 3-pointers four times with the last time coming at UC Davis (Jan. 22) on nine attempts…recorded career-highs with 45 treys made; 929 minutes played; 76 assists; 12 blocks; and 35 steals…finished her career ranked at No. 8 with 101 made 3-pointers and No. 5 with 318 3-point field goal attempts…also finished ranked No. 10 in UH’s career record averaging 27.7 minutes played…against UC Davis (Feb. 21) drained a 3-point shot from the right corner with 1:28 left in the game which was followed by Shawna-Lei Kuehu hitting two free throws to hold off the Aggies, 62-60...earned second team all-Big West honors...was voted the team's "Hustle Award" winner.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Appeared in 31 games with 9 starts…finished the season ranked second on the team averaging 10.4 points and third on the team with 5.2 rebounds per game…led Hawai‘i with a team-high 39 made 3-pointers (39-for-102)...ranked second on the team in total points (323)...poured in a career-high of 28 points and played all 45 minutes in a heart-breaking, overtime loss at Cal State Northridge (Feb. 1) on 11-of-18 shooting--including tying the UH single-game making six 3-pointers on eight attempts--she scored 18 of her 28 points against the Matadors in the second half and drained a trey with 11-seconds left in regulation to force overtime with the game tied at 65-65…against Chattanooga (Nov. 30) pulled down a career-high of 10 rebounds…ranked third in defensive rebounds (101) and fourth in steals (21)…averaged 26.7 minutes per game...voted to the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown All-Tournament Team...was selected as the Big West's Sixth Player of the Year and for the second straight season, earned honorable mention conference honors.
2012-13 (Freshman): Appeared in all 31 games with 30 starts…averaged 26.4 minutes per game…averaged 8.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game… recorded her first double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds against Oregon (Nov.23)… was second on the team making 17 three-point shots… was third on the team with 41 assists…second on the team with 137 rebounds…scored a career high 22 points and grabbed 4 steals at UC Davis (Jan. 18)… corralled a career high 10 rebounds twice against Tennessee-Martin (Nov.16) and Oregon (Nov. 23)… recorded a career-high four assists twice at Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 3) and at Pacific (Jan. 17)… selected to the Big West all-freshman team and earned Big West honorable mention honors in her first collegiate season.
2011-12: Did not play 2011-12 season due to NCAA regulations.
International Experience: Played small forward in 2011 for Australia’s Under-19 national team on the China tour and the World Championshops in Chile, South America where she saw action in seven games and averaged 2.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game…also represented Australia on the U17 (2007) – Oceania Tournament; U19 (2009) – European Tour and World Championships (Bangkok, Thailand)...in 2009 was an AIS scholarship holder and represented Australia at the Youth Olympic Festival…played on the Sydney Uni Flames club team in the Australian Women’s National Basketball League and represented NSW (New South Wales) on the state basketball squad from 2006-11…from 2003-11 also played on the Sydney Comets club team where in 2010 she averaged 24.05 points per game and in 2011 tallied 11.0 points per game…helped lead the Comets to championship titles in 2003 (U12), 2005 (U14), 2007 (U16), and 2010 (Youth League)….earned Most Valuable Player honors for the team 2005-08, 2010…voted Senior Player of the Year (2010).
Prep: Played one year of varsity high school basketball at Endeavour Sports High School…basketball division champions in 2009…was on the NSW All Schools Team in 2010…played on the Sydney Comets from 2003 to 2011…MVP from 2005-08 and 2010…also was voted Senior Player of the Year in 2010 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2003…was on the U12 (2003), U14 (2005), U16 (2007), and youth league 2010 championship teams…achieved 24.1 points per game in 2010 and 18 points per game in 2011.
Personal: Born in Hamilton, New Zealand…has dual-citizenship in both New Zealand and Australia…related to former Rainbow Wahine great and New Zealand national team member Tania Brunton…majoring in travel industry management…has two younger brothers and one younger sister … parents are Hoani and Colleen Karaitiana of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
