Biography

2010-11: Competed in two coed regattas and eight women’s regattas… sailed at the Coed PCCSC Team Race Championship (Apr. 9-10) helping the UH team take third… raced in the Women’s PCCSC Fall Championship (Oct. 30-31) capturing second in the B division helping the Rainbow Wahine take second overall… assisted the Rainbows 4 team with a third place finish at the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite (Jan. 22-23)… competed the South Florida Intersectional (Feb. 19-20) helping the Rainbow Wahine to a first place finish… sailed with the Women’s team at the PCCSC Championship (Apr. 23-24) finishing in second, helping the team qualify for the women’s Nationals for the 12th time in the last 14 years … finished the Spring season at the ICSA Sperry Topsider Women’s National Semifinals (May 23-24) helping the team to a 10th place finish. 

2009-10: Sailed in four coed regattas…helped UH take second at the Pacific Coast Team Racing Championships (Oct. 10-11)…also participated in the McIntyre Team Race (Mar. 6-7) taking fifth, the PCCSC Dinghy District Championships (Apr. 17-18) taking fourth and in the ICSA Team Race Championship (May 29-31) to help UH finish 11th.

Prep: A 2007 graduate of Half Moon Bay High School in California…earned two letters each in volleyball, soccer and swimming…made all-league in volleyball for four years in a row.
Personal: Born in San Mateo, Calif…intends to major in marine biology…has one brother and one sister…parents are Charlyn and Randy Johnson of Half Moon Bay, Calif.
