Prep: A 2004 graduate of Payson High School in Ariz...lettered in football, wrestling and golf...as a freshman, was the No. 1 player on the varsity squad that captured the state championship... helped lead squad to state runner-up finish as a sophomore...in individual competion, finshed as state runnerup as a sophomore and senior and third place as a freshman...earned all-state and all-region honors four straight years...a two-time Arizona 3A East Regional Player of the Year...captured nine tournaments and finished second seven times during his high school career...played two seasons of football, earned all-conference honors as a tailback...compiled a 40-5 record as a varsity wrestler and finished third in the state tournament..honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.
