2004-05: NCAA qualifier...won the 200 Breast (1:59.30) while placing second in the 100 Breast (54.23) and fifth in the 200 IM (1:51.04) at the NIC Championship...ranked second all-time at UH in the 100 Breast, third in 200 Breast, and seventh in 200 IM...named the team's Swimmer of the Year...earned second letter.

2003-04: NCAA qualifier...named UH Rookie of the Year...had the second best time on the UH squad in both the 100 Breast (54.43) and 200 Breast (1:59.58) at the NIC Championship...ranked 22th in the 100 Breast (54.43) and 36th in the 200 Breast on final Taper & Shave's College Top 50...earned first letter.

Prep: A 2001 graduate of Edmonton Christian High in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...swam for Edmonton Keyano Swim Club.

Personal: Born Jan. 21, 1983, in Barrhead, ALB, Canada...chose to attend UH because of the up and coming swimming program...most proudest moment was winning the World Cup in Edmonton...favorite food is mother's chili...has one older brother, Chris, and one younger brother, Joel...parents are Sandy and Greg Thomsen.
